Discipleship happens in community.

Community at Integrity

Typically at Integrity, we practice loving and serving one another through Small Groups. Small Groups are gospel-centered communities that meet each week to grow in the love and knowledge of Christ by taking a deeper look at scripture and praying for the application of God’s Word. In addition, Small Groups give you the opportunity to grow in your love for one another as you share the hardships and joys of life and encourage one another to walk in repentance.

Given the current circumstances, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel our Small Groups for the Fall Semester. However, we believe discipleship happens in community, so we want to explore other options if possible. Some possibilities for community this Fall would include:
  • Meeting with another family to watch the service together if you are uncomfortable meeting publicly on Sundays
  • Meeting with a group of 2-10 people during the week to discuss the sermon together
  • Meeting virtually with a group of people during the week on Zoom, or any video conferencing platform

However, we believe discipleship happens in community, so we want to explore other options if possible. As a result we have put together three alternate options to engage in community during this season. We understand that everybody’s circumstances are different, so each member can choose which of the three options is the best fit for them.

how to get connected at Integrity

Home gatherings

These groups are made up of 10 or less people, including children. They will meet once a week to watch the service together, take communion, discuss the sermon, and pray for one another.

Discipleship Groups

These groups can be made up of 2-10 people who meet to discuss the sermon together and pray for one another. Unlike Home Gatherings, these groups will have watched the sermon ahead of time and be made up of all women or all men. This will alleviate the need for childcare.

virtual groups

This is the safest and most inclusive option for groups. These groups will schedule a time to discuss the sermon and pray for one another over video chat. This eliminates the need for childcare as well as the potential to spread the virus.
